ABOUT SACHIN TENDULKAR GYMKHANA
 
 
Mumbai Cricket Association inaugurated its facility at Mahavir Nagar, Kandivali on 11th November 2013 and named it as "Sachin Tendulkar Gymkhana". The facility comprises of a cricket ground and a full fledged recreational activities comprising of Gymnasium, Swimming pool, Cafeteria, Bowling Alley, Table tennis, etc.
The function was attended by the members of Team India, Team West Indies, Hon'ble President (Then) Shri Sharad Pawar, other Office Bearers of the Association and members of the Association, former India and Mumbai players and following dignitaries:
  1. Mr. Prithviraj Chavan - Chief Minister, Maharashtra (Then)
  2. Mr. Ajit Pawar - Dy. Chief Minister, Maharashtra (Then)
  3. Mr. Sunil Prabhu - Mayor of Mumbai (Then)
  4. Mr. Sitaram Kunte - Commissioner, BMC (Then)
  5. Mr. Sanjay Nirupam - Member of Parliament, North Mumbai
  6. Mr. Gopal Shetty - Member of Legislative Assembly, North Mumbai
The function included performances by Ms. Isha Sharvani and Mr. Shaan.
