A state-of-the-art indoor cricket facility was inaugurated on 14th December 2007 at Bandra-Kurla Complex at Mumbai Cricket Association Indoor Cricket Academy by MCA President Sharad Pawar.
Then Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh presided over the function which was also attended by Manohar Joshi and Chhagan Bhujbal.
The facility, which can have controlled temperature ranging from 14 degree centigrade to 40 degree centigrade, has seven indoor nets.
Champion batsman Sachin Tendulkar, Dilip Vengsarkar who was also the Vice President of MCA then, Committee members and BCCI office bearers were also present at the function. | read more
