We refer to the news item appearing in Mumbai Mirror Daily on 23rd August 2014 regarding Mumbai Cricket Club tour to South Africa in November 2014 and hereby clarify that The Mumbai Cricket Association has nothing to do with the above club and parents sending their children shall be doing so at their own risk. This club i.e. Mumbai Cricket Club is not Affiliated or Associated with the Association. The Association has not given any permission to any such club. The players registered with Mumbai Cricket Association shall be liable to disciplinary action if they go out of Mumbai on any such unauthorized tours without the permission of Mumbai Cricket Association.
General warning is being issued by the Association to all the parents and players to be aware of such commercial tours and should refrain from sending their children on such unauthorized tours naming the clubs resembling any connection with the Association. Any persons running any unauthorized clubs and naming the club resembling any connection with the Mumbai Cricket Association directly or indirectly shall be liable for legal action.
