Former India Wicket Keeper and Mumbai Player Madhav Mantri passed away on Friday, 23rd May 2014.
He has played 4 test matches for India and 95 first class matches.
He captained Mumbai (then Bombay) to three Ranji Trophy titles in the 1950s.
He served as a national selector from 1964 to 1968 and was also the Mumbai Cricket Association President from 1987-88 to 1992. He was also India's team manager for the England tour of 1990, and served as BCCI treasurer between 1990 and 1992.
