Nine rounds of Dr. H.D. Kanga Cricket League 2016-17 have been washed out due to rains till date and as per the rules of the tournament, there cannot be any relegation or promotion unless five matches are played. Also the Association will face shortage of grounds due to commencement of Metro work & Ramleela at Azad Maidan and Durga Puja Festival at Shivaji Park.
In view of the above, the Managing Committee of the Association has decided to conclude the said tournament without conducting the last two rounds scheduled on 2nd and 9th October 2016.
