Playing in Mumbai Cricket Association's H.T. Bhandary Challenge Trophy 2015-2016 for Under-16 Inter School Cricket Tournament (Elite Group) Right Handed Wicket Keeper Batsman Pranav Dhanawade scored world record 1009 runs not out for K.C. Gandhi English School, Kalyan.
He has scored 1009* runs in 327 balls with 129 boundaries and 59 sixes spending 396 minutes on the wicket at Union Cricket Academy Ground, Wayale Nagar , Kalyan.
Opted to bat first after winning toss, Arya Gurukul (Kalyan) were bowled out for mere 31 runs in 17 overs in 1st Innings.
K.C. Gandhi English School, Kalyan declared on 1465/3 in 94 overs, in which majority of the runs were scored by opening batsman Pranav Dhanawade.
Wicket Keeper Batsman Pranav achieved this world record of individual score of 1009* runs well supported by teammates Akash Singh 173 runs, Siddhesh Patil 137 runs, Shashwat Jagpat 58 runs and Aman Yadav scoring 36*, K.C.
