Having Graduated in Commerce from Mumbai University pursued Cost Accounting before joining Hindustan Lever Ltd. & later as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of W.H. Brady & Co Ltd a leading Engineering and project Company. He is now a management consultant specializing in operational efficiencies & cost effectiveness.

Has represented Worli Sports Club, Adarsh Cricket Club, Taki Team Sport Club, Maharashtra Young Cricketers & Lever Sports Club in various tournaments conducted by Mumbai Cricket Association.

He was Co-Ordinator of the Umpires Committee of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).

Retired as an International Umpire on the panel of Board of Control for Cricket in India.

Has been a former Secretary of the Umpire Sub-Committee and the Convener of the Special Committee for Infra Structure Development, Finance committee & examiner for the local Umpiring examination of MCA.

Has been active member of the MCA and has coupled the sporting passion with professional management skills in the activities of the MCA. He was the Manager with the Mumbai Ranji Trophy Team in November 2014.

He is the founder member of the Late Ajit Naik Memorial U-14 Cricket Tournament, a selection tournament for Mumbai probables.

He was totally involved in the conduct of ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 as Commercial Manager & as Venue coordinator for IPL 4.
